They pour concrete into the building, when it sets the building climbs up to the next level and they pour more concrete - all the way to the sky I guess.
If a waiter stopped by right now to take your order, what cocktail or drink are you having?
Rum and Coke. After spending a few hours trying to dissect an argument and put it into some crappy software, I kinda need one.
Although, this late at night, perhaps a port before I go to bed...
Oh, did I mention, Uni sucks...
Considering I made most of the graphics (Beebsta made the ground tiles), I was amazed to find that our game made the second promo video for the Pascal Game Development competition this year.
There's about 15 seconds of our gameplay in there (out of a 1 min 30 sec video, that's not too bad). Also Hiney's favourite theme song is also the background music in the video (Thanks crack.com for the Golgotha resources).
Anyway, we're not entering this year as Hiney and I have waaay too much on with University at the moment. But this years theme is very interesting. If you're interested, check the site for more details.
So, without further adieu, here's the video (that's our game on the thumbnail :-)
Saw a fantastic article on digg a few days ago. I'll get in to trouble for posting it, but I hope my gf reads it.
Another 2 weeks and it'll be all over for the year. Can't wait until that last uni test is done with.
Worst part is it's time for the silly season to start, and we all know how much stress that can cause. Oh well, at least there's some time off coming up in just over a month. That will be a nice change
Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?

It's really the right tool for the right job. I use Linux for most things as I believe it is most appropriate for most applications, but then again, I'm a technical user. However, a desktop that needs to do word processing and web/email can happen under linux for anyone.
Games, unfortunately Windows is still the easiest way to go, but I've gotta say, I've finished Prey without installing it under windows thanks to Cedega. What Linux needs on that front is a gaming api. DirectX has more than just OpenGL equivalence. That's what we need for Linux, an API that combines graphics/sound/physics/networking/video/etc.
As far as a Mac goes, I was very tempted a few months ago, but I decided to go for a notebook with two hard disks instead (considering they're almost full, it was the right choice). I haven't had any experience with OSX but I'd be interested in trying it out at some stage.
What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?

Heh, I've just finished putting up my notes on setting up MythTV on OpenSUSE and this is the question. Perfect timing.
I guess I'm be looking forward to Battlestar Galactica, Stargate-SG1 and Atlantis. I'm very interested in seeing how Torchwood is going to turn out, and watching the rest of Doctor Who. Kinda looks like I'm a sci-fi buff...
